Lo stivaletto Lowell Chukka utilizza la pelle Crazy Horse, un pellame oliato di forte spessore che si segna con l'uso: pieghe e graffi affiorano nel tempo e rendono ogni paio diverso dall'altro. È un materiale che non nasconde la vita che fa, ed è esattamente il suo pregio.
La costruzione è Goodyear welted, con la cucitura gialla a vista tipica del marchio: la suola è unita alla tomaia con un guardolo cucito, quindi risuolabile. Sotto c'è la suola BEN, dotata di camera d'aria ammortizzante e tasselli profondi con disegno battistrada marcato, per una tenuta affidabile sull'asciutto e sul bagnato. Il profilo a sei occhielli con punta a mocassino e colletto imbottito lo rende adatto all'uso quotidiano, in città come nel tempo libero.
Dr. Martens produce calzature dal 1960, con la suola AirWair ad aria come segno distintivo.
