The men's Birkenstock Utti Lace is the German brand's moccasin-style shoe with a timeless design: visible stitching, laces and the soft heel tab that helps you slip it on and off. Underneath, the comfortable, lightweight Deep Blue footbed.
Comfort and Fit
Inside the Birkenstock Utti Lace is Birkenstock's original Deep Blue footbed, anatomically shaped and removable, with a heel cup and arch support. The laces adjust the fit over the instep; the fit is regular.
Materials and Construction
The upper is suede in the Black, Carafe, Cork Brown, Gray Taupe and New Navy colours, and embossed natural leather in Natural Black and Roast. The footbed lining is microfibre. The outsole is natural rubber with cork elements, the detail that makes it recognisable as an original Birkenstock. The manufacturer declares the footbed Made in Germany.
Versatility and Styling
With chinos, jeans and corduroy trousers, in the office and at the weekend: the Birkenstock Utti Lace is the flat shoe that combines the line of a moccasin with the stability of a lace-up. It is worn from September to May.
Sustainability
The Birkenstock Utti Lace is built with a leather upper, cork elements in the sole and a natural rubber outsole. It is footwear designed to last: the Deep Blue footbed is removable and the manufacturer offers specific care kits to extend its life.
Care and Maintenance
For the smooth leather versions Birkenstock offers the Leather Conditioner and the Polishing Cloth; for the suede ones, a suitable brush for dry dirt and the Suede Care Kit, following the manufacturer's instructions. The removable footbed can be taken out to air the shoe. Leave to dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
