The Birkenstock Boston is the German brand's classic closed clog: covered toe, open heel and a buckled strap that adjusts in a single movement. Here the upper is in thick, seamless oiled nubuck leather, with a waxed surface that develops different shades over time from one pair to the next.

The Birkenstock Boston features the anatomically shaped cork and latex footbed, with a deep heel cup, arch support and a toe bar. The adjustable metal buckle adapts the fit across the instep; the fit is narrow.

For the exposed cork edge of the footbed the manufacturer offers the Cork Sealer and Protector, to be applied only to the cork, not to the upper.
